Problem with J-Link 4.36g and Keil 4.22a

  • Problem with J-Link 4.36g and Keil 4.22a

    Hi all,

When I use J-Link 4.36g and Keil 4.22a to debug STM32F407, it seems that there're problems with AGDI.

If the CPU is running, adding variables to the watch window works fine, and the value column shows the correct value of variables. But if the CPU is halted, value column turns to "cannot evaluate", and I cannot add any variables to the watch window. Adding watch with "WS" command in command window gives "error 123: AGDI: invalid operation".

Is there any workaround for this problem ?

    Thanks and Best Regards
  • I have the same problems with almost the same configuration (J-Link V4.36i + Keil 4.22a + STM32F407VG).
Furthermore sometimes at the beginning debug session Keil displays error: "Failed to allocate 0xFFFFFF00 bytes of memory".

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance.
  • Hi,

Good to hear that it works now.
Just for clarification: It was not a problem on the J-Link side but on the uVision IDE side which has been fixed in V4.23

    Best regards
