    • JLink Edu Mini Compatible MCU

      Hi!

I purchased a J-Link EDU Mini when I was in school; it was sometime around 2017. I was wondering if there are limitations on what MCUs it can connect to? I purchased an STM32H755ZI devboard which has a Cortex M7 and M4; it is unable to connect to them. I have two other devboards it can connect to, an NXP Kinetis K82 (CM4) and and NXP LPC55S69 (2x CM33). I tried connecting my EDU Mini to the H755ZI with both JTAG and SWD, on both the M4 and M7 at an interface speed of 100 kHz.

I took my H775 devboard to work and was able to connect to it using a J-Link PLUS Compact and was able to step through code with it. Edit: My day job embedded work and personal interests are different; I am not using my EDU Mini for any money-making endeavors.

My JLink EDU Mini is running the latest firmware, as far as I can tell. Serial Number and version information below. I've also attached terminal output. It tries several reset methods and fails at scanning the JTAG chain.
