  • [SOLVED]Flasher ARM Standalone mode

    Hi,
I'm having some issues programming a STM32F103CB in Standalone mode. When the flasher is first plugged in the LED and serial output indicate that it is awating enumeration as expected. After initialting a E/P/V using the button on the front, everything appears to be normal and the serial output confirms this. On initiating a second programming sequence the flasher hangs at connecting to the target (it does whether the target has been power cycled or not). The only way around this is to power cycle the flasher. When the flasher is used with J-Flash i don't have any issues. Attached is a copy of the serial output.
    Thanks.

  • Hi,

Which firmware version does your Flasher use?
Could you please download and install the current release version V4.34c and start J-Link Commander while the Flasher is connected to the PC?
It should ask for an firmware update if you are not using the latest one.

We have fixed an issue regarding this some versions ago, so this should also fix your problem.

    Best regards
    Alex

  • Hi,
I was running this under J-Flash v3.34b previously. I did as you suggested with v3.34c but the commander did not indicate that it had updated the firmware on the flasher.
Still have the issue running under standalone mode.......
    Thanks.
