  • [SOLVED] JLinkScript: Write coprocessor (CP15) registers supported?

In this thread from 2020 it was discussed, that writing to coprocessor (CP15) registers via JLinkScript is not possible yet and was planned to be implemented next year (2021). Is there meanwhile an option to write to the CP15 registers via JLinkScript files? I couldn't find anything about it in the documentation / release notes.
We need this feature. We use the Renesas e²studio and we aren't able to use the "monitor cp15" command, because e²studio uses it's own gdb server, which doesn't support this command and doen't forward it to the J-Link GDB server. So the only one option is then using a JLinkScript.
  • Just curious:
What do you need the write for?
I would expect the application to setup the CP15 registers on its own, if it needs them to run correctly. Otherwise, your application would not work without a debugger being attached that does these writes for you…

While CP15 access is not available in script
files yet, I will check if there are any plans.
So far, there was no action on this because there was not a single other need since that thread from 2020 which is now 3 years ago…
