    Rather than reinvneting the wheel, thought I'd ask if there was an example program, using embOS, for an SPI interface to a peripheral chip. My particular application is for ATmega128 (MISO/MOSI/SCLK/SS). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    there is nearly no difference for your SPI communication with or without embOS.
    You have only to follow the rules for interrupt handlers which are documented in the embOS documentation.
    I guess you will find a lot of sample code for ATmega128 and SPI on the web.
