Annoying emulator selection window

  • Annoying emulator selection window

    Hi!
    From version 4.20 of j-link software, there is a emulator selection window appearing when I try to program flash or debug my TI Cortex-M3 ARM processor through Keil Environment (v4.12). It's very annoying because I have only one J-Link connected to my PC, in addition window pops up three times on every programming or debugging. Does anybody know how to get rid of this window?

  • Update ends with no Cortex found?!

    how did you update the Keil Enviroment (4.12) to the new Segger driver(4.20f)? Copy the JLinkARM.dll (4.20.6.0) to the Keil\ARM\Segger Directory? I have also the USB Selection Box, but i get an error no Cortex found!?

    Thank you, for your fast response. So the Differences are the following:

    -SWD instead of JTAG
    -HW V7 instead V8
    -Win XP Sp3 instead of Win7 64

    I get this selection Box 4 times, before it opens the 'normal' Debugwindow. I can't work with the 4.20f Dll from Segger. Any other one with the same problem?

    We have build a patched release version (V4.20n) in which this "erroneous" pop-up of the dialog has been fixed.

    Could you please try out the latest release version (V4.20n)?

  • Hi Holger,

    as mentioned in my previous post, the fix comes with V4.20n.
    There will be also a new beta version (should be released within this week, planned for today)
    which comes with this fix, too.
