  • TI CC2640/CC2650 and J-Link on command line.

    Hello,

Target is CC2640/CC2650. I'm trying to load a very simple blink LED application compiled via gcc. I was able to build the blink_led example from the swra446 example without using Eclipse, really simply on the command line.

But, was unsuccessful loading it into a stripped-down SensorTag using a Segger J-link. See output below.

Anyone out there have any success with CC2640 and J-Link? The TI e2e employees are just telling me to use the XDS.

J-Link> loadbin blink_led.bin 0x0, fails with the following:

$ JLinkExe -if jtag -device CC2650F128

  • Hi Brian,

As I can see from the output you posted, you are using V4.96l of the J-Link software.
Could you please give the current version a try?

There have been bugfixes for the CC26xx series devices in later versions.
