  • Atmel AT91SAM7S not always programming in stand-alone mode - suspect erase

    Hi,
I have been using a Flasher to program an Atmel AT91SAM7S-256-AU-001.
I have found that when connected to a PC it will perform all functions as required, and the AUTO function (called by pressing f7) successfully erases programs and verifies.
However when I try and use it in stand-alone mode it only seems to succeed if a device has been erased first.
Is there any way in which I can gather log data from the device to explain why it has rejected this?
I have attached the project settings.
    Thanks
    Andy

  • Hi,

We are not aware of any problems with the SAM7S and Flasher stand-alone mode.
You can start the Flasher in MSD mode (see manual for further information) and read out the log-file (FLASHER.LOG).
What behavior do you see in stand-alone mode, if you do *not* erase the device?
