Gdb server refuses to work with AT91SAM9260-EK board

Hello,

Hello,<br><br>When trying to use Segger's GDB server with an AT91SAM9260-EK evaluation board, I keep getting the message
"Bad JTAG communication: Write to IR: Expected 0x1, got 0x0 (TAP Command : 2) @ Off 0x5."
I have tried both version 3.80a and 3.91j.

With an AT91SAM7X256-EK board it works flawlessly.

What can I do?

Hello eranrund,

we have tested J-Link GDB Server with the AT91SAM9260-EK and it works fine.
We used embOS trial version 3.60d for GNU Tools, for testing.

The trial version can be downloaded from our website: segger.com/downloads.html#embOS (embOS trial for ARM7/9/XScale and GNU)

Can you try out this one and confirm that it works?

Hello Alex,

The error is displayed immediately when I start Segger's GDB server - I do not even get the chance to use the actual GDB client
