TCK and RTCK on AT91SAM7S64

  • TCK and RTCK on AT91SAM7S64

    Using the j-link for ARM on the Atmel AT91SAM7S64 communication fails if TCK is not connected to RTCK but according to the documentation RTCK should be grounded if the CPU does not provide RTCK. Does anybody know why this is?

  • Should not be so. The only reason I can see would be that you have selected "Adaptive clocking", which requires RTCK to be bridged
    when used on a non-S Core.
