ATMEL provides a framework to allow engineers to write their own tools to update the flash on their processors (IE AT91SAM7SE512). I’m having several problems with the framework, but one may be an issue with SEGGER.
When I run my program with the target power off, I dialog box appears stating so. Is JLinkARM.dll putting this dialog up or AT91Boot_DLL.dll? If JLinkARM.dll is putting it up, can this dialog be disabled? If it’s AT91Boot_DLL.dll , I’ll contact ATMEL.
More important is the fact that either JLinkARM.dll or AT91Boot_DLL.dll is crashing when target power is off. I suspect it is the ATMEL dll, because J-Flash ARM does not crash, however, both SAM-PROG and SAM-BA both do crash. Who is crashing?
I have several other issues with the ATMEL framework, that I’ll take up with them
My Setup
1. Tried on both Vista and XP
2. J-Link ARM 3.80c
3. AT-91_ISP.exe v1.11
4. SAM-ICE v6.0
Thanks,
