    This is for one of prospective
    customer who as requested for the information on embOS.





    They want to understand what
    will be mips usage of any cortex M3 microcontroller (take LP1768 for eg) when
    it runs tcp/ip stack and http server. Another way to ask: how will cpu mips
    will be taken by tcp/ip stack and http server application.





    It would further help if you can
    tell us what will be the cpu utilization while doing the following operation:


    Capture data from Nor Flash at
    2.5MB per second rate and send it over Ethernet (running tcp/ip, http server).

    I can't give you exact values since this depends on much aspects.
    I would recommend you to download an embOS trial or a Segger eval software and make your own measurements.
    Our embOSView PC tool is a good way to visualize the task load for each embOS task.
