[SOLVED] Burn hex file using Jflash into DA1580 Device

Hi,

I have a DA1580 device (Dialog Semiconductor), and my goal for this stage to burn hex file to it.

I'm using Jlink 10.1 debugger.

I could not find the device in the devices' list in SEGGER J-flash Lite 6.12\6.14\6.16.

Can you help me with finding a way to burn the hex file to the DA14850 device?

We are not aware of a DA14850 device.
Do you mean 14580? If yes, what do you want to program, Flash or OTP?
If no, could you provide or link us to the documentation of the DA14850 ?

The device does not have a flash.
I am trying to load hex to the RAM as Keil does. (Keil programs my code to the chip by saving it to the RAM, when the power of the device is off, the program will be deleted.)

I am confused.
You say "DA14850", but link to "DA14580".
Is DA14580 correct?

Sorry, it's a typo, I just copied it.

Yes, the correct one is DA14580

Does J-link Flash-Lite Support Dialog DA14580?

Hi,

J-Flash Lite is used for flash memory programming.
RAM programming should be done by the debugger, e.g. Ozone, embedded Studio or J-Link Commander.
Maybe I misunderstand your use case.

Do you have a different use case than debugging for download to RAM?

All fine, I understood now, the problem si that the DA14580 does not have a flash.

As far as I know, it can be ordered with Flash or OTP memory.

Do you want to explain the task you need to do? (Why do you want to download the .hex file? For debugging / testing?)

Or is everything fine, as you said?

Hi,

For debugging and testing I'm using Keil.

For the current stage, I sent the .hex for another party in the project to use it. They only want to burn it for testing thier application.

Next time, I will order one with Flash.
