[SOLVED] J-Link Software 5.10 not added to start menu

  • Hi All,

    I just installed J-Link Software for Windows V5.10. But for some reason there were no entries added to the start menu (the installer checkbox was checked).
    I installed the J-Scope 5.10 just before the J-Link Software and that added the start menu entry for J-Scope 5.10.

    All former J-Link versions correctly added the appropriate entries to the start menu (5.02l was the last one I installed).
    Has anything changed? Any ideas?

    thanks for your inquiry.
    We also noticed that occasionally the start menu entry is created but needs a few minutes or even a restart to appear in the start menu.
    We think that that is a Windows "issue" which can most like be overcome by manually triggering some sort of refresh at the end of the installation procedure, but we did not investigate this behavior yet.
