heap in external RAM

[embOS, Cortex M4, STM32F479, Rowley CrossWorks]
I want to move the heap to an external RAM, but OS_malloc returns always NULL. In particular, the malloc inside OS_malloc returns NULL.
The external RAM itself works fine.
Maybe somebody knows how to move the heap? Is a special setup required?
Thanks

I think that question is more related to Rowley Crossworks than embOS.
Did you change the linker file accordingly? Could you please share that with us?
I will also check whether we can provide a sample project or linker file.

Btw. As you are still in support please don't hesitate to contact us with the embOS support email address.

Best regards,
