[SOLVED] Support for Zfinx ISA spec

Hi,
My question is about the support for the Zfinx ISA specification in SES.
According to gcc.gnu.org, they posted in Nov'21 that the Zfinx extension had already finished public review. And qemu and spike already support Zfinx.

Is Zfinx also supported in SES?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry.
Currently no plans for official support.

But you can always use an external gcc that supports the extension and call it with Embedded Studio:

You can also debug such setups, just keep in mind that the disassembly might be incorrect for the unsupported extension instructions.
