  • [ABANDONED] Exception on exit from Low Power Mode via JTAG

    Hey guys,

We're currently working with ARM M4 core processors, it seems after flashing the device via JTAG and going in and out of sleep a few times an exception occurs after wakeup after n times. This issue is not present following a power reset.

We do not see this issue with SWD programming, or by changing modes to SWD after flashing via JTAG and issuing a reset command.

We do not have a external reset pin connected, reset is type 8, core and perphs.

Verified with JLink Lite and CortexM Jtag units.

I guess the question is, is there a way to reset the debug interface following a flash, or any way to do a reset and clear out any JTAG settings?

    Thanks,
  • Hi,
    Thank you for your inquiry.
Such an issue is not known to us.

    1) What device are you working with exactly?
I am asking, because Resets are often very device specific.
    2) Do you use custom hardware or an evaluation board? In the latter case which one?
If custom hardware, do you experience the same problem on an evaluation board?
    3) Could you please send us a J-Link log file? How to enable:

    Best regards,
    Fabian
