LPC2146 Max JTAG Clock Speed for Flash Programming?

Hi Segger Support,
I have had the following reply from NXP on my above question:

Will it be ok to set the Segger J-Flash ‘JTAG speed after init’ to 2000KHz (2MHz) for this device? I don’t see any reason why not do you?

Hi Andy,

the speed you can select depends on the speed of the CPU. YOu can go to about 1/8 of the CPU speed
(because of the 3stage syncronizer)
So it depends on your PLL and clock setting;
if you run the CPU at 48 MHZ, 6 MHz JTAG can be used.

Anyhow, for a CPU with syncronizer (any TDMI-S), "adaptive" works very well.
