  • [SOLVED] Flasher ARM Stand-Alone fails, but J-Flash F7 production programming works

    Hi,

Flasher ARM connected via USB to J-Flash programs NXP K8x with additional QSPI flash perfectly with Target->Production Programming (F7). The Ready/O.K. LED flashes slowly (at about 1Hz), then glows solid after about 10 secs. MCU resets and application runs.

Config and Data files are downloaded to Flasher, which is then detached from PC and attached to power-supply.

Now, in stand-alone mode, after pressing the PROG button, the green Ready O.K LED flashes rapidly.

I allow this to continue for for a minute or so before powering-down and abandoning the operation. On restart, neither the current, nor the previous (J-Flash loaded) device applications run, which indicates that at least some flash was erased or changed during stand-alone mode.

Any idea why this may be so, and how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    Denis
