  • [SOLVED] MPC5777C and Segger

    Dear Mr / Mrs,

I have segger Jlink debugger probe. Can I use NXP MPC5777C for debugging and programming? Is NXP MPC5777C as compatiable mcu for Segger probe. I could'nt see NXP MPC5777c on supported list.

    Best Regards.

  • Hi,
    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Regarding debugging:
We do not officially support the Power architecture for debugging with J-Link and do not have any plans for supporting it.
The reason is that the demand for debugging support on these devices is very small,
but the effort to support Power devices is usually pretty high.

    Regarding Programming:
We do provide programming support for multiple Power architecture devices, including the MPC56xx series:
    segger.com/supported-devices/search/mpc5

However, as already mentioned, this does not include debug support.

Should you still be interested in programming support via Flasher,
I would forward you to our Flasher team regarding flash programming support for the MPC57xx devices.

    Best regards,
    Fabian
