  • [SOLVED] The 16M and 64M programming limitation for RT1176

my customer is using RT1176, due to big picture resource, they changed the default on board 16MB flash to 128MB, but found the maximum support show in Jflash is 64MB,and with the default configuration even can't program Flash which image is >16MB.
so there are two issues: 1. how to support >16MB image programing with the current settings. 2. How to extend to support 128MB flash.
    Expect to get feedback, thanks.

Could you please send us a screenshot of the error message that is shown?

Could you please send us a J-Link log file? How to enable:
    wiki.segger.com/J-Link_DLL#Enable_J-Link_Log_File
Could you please send us the whole JFlash log output?
Could you please tell us which QSPI flash the customer is using now exactly (full name of the component)?

    Best regards,
    Fabian

  • Hi,
You are using an outdated version of the J-Flash software.
In between your version and the latest version critical changes were conducted regarding SPI & RT11xx devices.

Could you please download the latest version (link below) and try again?
