    Hi,

    I am using Espressif ESP32 devices and would really like to use the JTAG port with Segger tools. At the moment, I think my only option is to use J-Link as a 'dumb' JTAG interface with OpenOCD, and I cannot use J-Link GDB Server with ESP32.

    I searched this forum and found this thread from 3 years ago asking about ESP32 support, and Segger's reply then was that there had been no other enquiries about ESP32 support at that point, and therefore no plans to develop support. I want to ask again now some time has passed - are there any plans to support ESP32 devices with the Segger tools, and have you since had any further enquries? I would like to add my voice to the requests!

    Our tools do not yet directly support
    ESP32, but it is possible to use OpenOCD with a J-Link.

    Maybe you can have a look at this website:

    We are going to add direct programming support as well, but we do
    not have a schedule now.
