[SOLVED] What happens to target when disconnecting from the JTAG controller

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    The detailed steps depend on the used CPU (Core).
    Basically, the J-Link de-initializes the debug registers and starts the CPU on close / disconnect.

    So the device is not reset, but it also does not continue in debug state.
    The application is continued in its current state after the de-initialization of the debug registers.
