  • [ABANDONED] JLink command window won't connect to TM4C1290NCPDT target

    I upgraded to J-Link Commander V6.94b. I have a JTrace Pro HW version 2.0.
Previously, I had no trouble using the Segger JTAG with the TM4C1290NCPDT custom board. I am able to flash/debug this custom target using the TI JTAG programmer. But with the JLink commander, it is unable to connect to the target. Please see attached snapshot of the command window. I need this resolved ASAP.
    Thanks,
    Priya

  • Hi Priya,
There is no such issue known to us.

    Could you please:
    1) follow the troubleshooting article on the page linked below
and send us a screenshot of the entire J-Link Commander output?
    wiki.segger.com/J-Link_cannot_…the_CPU#Target_connection
    2) Check if the debug cable between J-Link and Target board is connected correctly (all pins + J-Link/Adapter pin 1 conencted with board debug pin 1)?
    3) confirm that this works with the version of the J-Link Software you used before?
    4) check if the connect works with SWD?
    5) Send us a picture of your J-Link <-> Target board setup?

    Best regards,
    Fabian
