  • [SOLVED] J-Link dual core debugging - cross core break

Project si about a dual core STM32H745, we are currently using a DISCO board.

By using the onboard STLINK debugger there is the option to use a so called Break Cross Trigger Matrix Configuration - when reaching a breakpoint on one core the other core can be stopped as well.

With the J-Trace debugger we are running 2 instances of SystemWorkbench (with installed plugin "GDB SEGGER J-Link Debugging") , each instance is debugging one core. Is it possible to use this cross core break feature also with J-Trace (J-Link)?

    Thank you!

  • Hi,
    Thank you for your inquiry.

This feature is not yet available.
It is planned for sometime later this year.

    Does this answer your question?

    Best regards,
    Fabian
