  • [ABANDONED] Ozone crashes when pausing execution outside of elf file

Ozone V3.10g with a bootloader elf file crashes if Debug.Halt(); occurs after it leaves the bootloader section of memory. On another device and with a different bootloader, this does not occur using Ozone. The SEGGER J-Link Pro and Ultra+ are being used as debuggers. The targets are STM32F4.

    Cheers,
    Joe
  • Hello Joe,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
Such an issue is not known to us. Could you provide some more information about your setup?
What host OS are you running Ozone on?
Are you using a custom or eval board?
Could you provide an example project for reproduction that would run on an eval board?
When setting up the bootloader projects did you consider the following steps?
    wiki.segger.com/Debug_on_a_Target_with_Bootloader
    wiki.segger.com/Debug_Bootload…ion_in_same_Ozone_project

    Best regards,
    Nino
