[ABANDONED] Build example error

hi,

windows7, SEGGER Embedded Studio for ARM Release 4.18 Build 2019070301.39449 Windows x64
hardware:PCA10040

After installing the software SES 4.18, open the example ble_app_uart_pca10040_s132,The building found:

Building ‘ble_app_uart_pca10040_s132’ from solution ‘ble_app_uart_pca10040_s132’ in configuration ‘Debug’
Assembling ‘thumb_crt0.s’
Error starting process C:/Program Files/SEGGER/SEGGER Embedded Studio for ARM 4.18/gcc/arm-none-eabi/bin/cc1
Build failed

But the file cc1.exe can be found at C:/Program Files/SEGGER/SEGGER Embedded Studio for ARM 4.18/gcc/arm-none-eabi/bin/cc1.

Thank you for your inquiry.
Such an issue is not known to us. Could you give the latest Embedded Studio version a try? Do you still see the same behaviour?
Which Nordic SDK version are you using? Could you also use the latest version here?

But the error message says that the problem is starting the process - not finding the file.

Can you run that file from the command line?

Have you ever been able to build anything successfully?
