  • [ABANDONED] Error reported: Faild to connect to target

    Hi,

I used today the No-Commercial-License of Segger Embbeded Studio for ARM V4.30c (32-bit). We want to test the development environment before we buy it. Now I have a problem. I would like to test debugging and flashing with the J-Link Plus Adapter to the target. But I always get the error message "No idcode detected". Is this not allowed with the non-commercial license?

  • Hello Udo,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
There are no technical restrictions in the non commercial/evaluation version of Embedded Studio.
This sounds like a connection setup issue.
What target device are you looking to connect to?
Is it a custom board or eval board? If eval which one?
Is connection working using J-Link Commander?

    Best regards,
