[ABANDONED] Segger Embedded Studio issue in firmware download into nRF52840

Hi,

I have raised support ticket #60103272. I was using Nordic chip license.
I am using Nordic nRF52840 PCA10056 board. Installed SES in Ubuntu PC. When trying to download firmware it says "Unable to download application, Undocumented error". PFA also.

On the Segger forum, don't expect people to necessarily know what that is.

It's their USB Dongle:

As such, it doesn't have an on-board J-Link - so how are you connecting to it?

Sorry my mistake. The board I use has on board Jlink. I just connected board to desktop USB port.

Have you ever seen that error attached in SES any time. How can I get rid of it? Why it is not allowing me to download firmware?

So which board are you using, then?

Note that the nRF52840 DK has two USB sockets - are you using the correct one?

Could you check if general connection to the target device is working with J-Link Commander?
