  • [SOLVED] How UB (User Boot P14) signal is driven when "freed" by probe on RX FINE adapter

    Hi Community,

After a long research on different documentation, I'm not able to know how the UB (User Boot) signal on RX adapter is let "free" when not driving inside JLink probe: open drain, pull-up/down, ... ?

During a test phase, the P14 of RX111 is used to turn into flash mode MCU by JLINK probe but also used as GPIO output by MCU itself without unplug the probe. We made some measurement with an oscilloscope to watch signal behaviour, we didn't see any problem, could you confirm?

Thanks in advance for your support.

    Paul A.
  • Hello Paul,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
The adapter has no driving mode for that particular pin, but J-Link internal there is a 220k pulldown connected.
    I hope this information helps.

    Best regards,
    Nino
