    Hi,
    I use a JLink-EDU to flash nRF52840 on macOS and meet an error. The JLink software version and error informations is below.



    If I connect the nTRST pin of JTAG to reset pin of MCU, it works well.
    I want to know what’s this error mean? Why it’s works well when connect nTRST pin?

    Thank you for your inquiry.
    Such an issue is not known to us.
    You are using SWD so nTRST should not have any effect so we currently assume it has to do with your debug interface setup.
    Are you using an eval board or custom hardware?
    If eval board which one?
    In what context are you using this J-Link? Product development or how?
    Could you provide a J-Link log file of the failing session?

    Could you also provide an excerpt from the board schematics of the debug interface?
