    Hi there,

    I have a LPC55S69 EVK board and wanted to use the Jtrace to get the instruction trace. Since no trace pin is available on the board, I thought setting trace source to be "trace buffer" should work. Unfortunately, it is not allowed in OZone. I wonder if this is a hardware issue or software issue. More specifically, Is it because the hardware lacks the ETM/ETB support or the JLINK software hasn't supported it yet?

    I suppose there at least should be an ETM module available, because the ETM module is advertised in the product manual.

    Thank you for your inquiry.
    The LPC55S69 unfortunately does not implement any ETB, so only ETM tracing via pins can be used.

    It is available, however it is possible that the ROM table in incomplete or incorrect so J-Link can't detect the module.
    But you can set the base address manually via JLinkScript. See J-Link user manual for more information.
