  • [SOLVED] Ozone terminal double line (blank lines)

    Hello,

I am using OZone when debugging, and the terminal has RTT lines double spaced. That is, a blank line after each NRF_LOG_*() executed on the target.

The target is nRF52 with the latest Nordic SDK. I've tried looking around the options/settings and can't find anything to have the output single spaced (as it is in SES)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks,
    thomas

You aren't including newlines on the ends of your strings, are you?

You don't need to do that: each log is automatically put on a line of its own - no need for an explicit newline at the end.
So, of course, if you do put an explicit newline at the end of a string, you will get double spacing!
  • Hello,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
Such an issue is not known to us.
Do you get the same behaviour with the latest Ozone version?
Could you provide an example project for reproduction purposes?

    Best regards,
    Nino

  • Hi Thomas,

Good to hear that you are up and running again.
This is indeed an error in the handler for NRF_LOG in the Nordic SDK.
We will check if ES and Ozone can be streamlined in their behavior regarding the output of \r\r\n

As the initial topic has been answered this thread will be closed now.
