  • [ABANDONED] JLink Debugger/Emulator setup for TMS570LS0714 microcontroller using IAR EWARM v8.22

    Hi,

We are using the Segger Emulator JLink Pro for programming our hardware TMS570LS0714 (ARM Cortex-R4F) and using the IDE IAR EWARM 8.22.
However, when we are trying to Download and Debug using the IDE IAR EWARM 8.22 , we are getting an error message (as follows). Attached are the screen shots of error message and error log.
Please could you let us know the solution to debug using the JLink Pro.

    Error Message: (Attached screenshot)
CPU-TAP not found in JTAG chain
    Abort debug session?

  • Hello Abrar,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
Such an issue is not known to us.
It seems like a connectivity issue.
Could you check if general connection to the target device is working?

If this works could you try debugging your application using Ozone instead of IAR, does that work?
