  • [SOLVED] How to obtain license key for J-Flash?

Hello, i'm using J-Link EDU with Serial #268004270 and J-Flash.
Reading is fine, but for writing it reclaims a missing license. There are currently no licensekeys added to J-Flash.
    How can i obtain one?
    Regards
  • Hello,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
J-Flash licenses are not available for J-Link EDU series.
Licenses are included in J-Link Plus or higher: segger.com/products/debug-prob…nk/models/model-overview/

    Best regards,

  • Hello,

Yes you can program Flash using J-Link Commander or J-Flash Lite.
J-Flash is our professional production utility with many advanced features that are useful in a production environment, that is why it is only available for our professional debug probes.
For debug setups J-Link Commander and J-Flash Lite are sufficient.
In J-Link Commander commands loadbin or loadfile can be used. More information can be found in the J-Link user guide.

    Best regards,

  • Hello,

J-Flash lite should already be installed on your system if you have J-Flash installed.
It is also part of the J-Link software package and can be found in the J-Link install folder after installation.

As the initial question has been answered this thread will be closed now.
