  • [SOLVED] Is there way to read the data from J-link?

    Dear All,

I know that once i set up the flasher, anyone can download the data from flasher to target.

but i want to know that someone could read the data(hex file of a Firmware) from the flasher which i set up before

because I have to protect my data.

    Thanks
  • Hi,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
It is possible to set the Flasher into authorized mode.
More information can be found in the Flasher user guide (UM08022) in section "Authorized flashing".

If you are looking for a way to authenticate each flash process we also offer the Flasher secure with additional security features:

    Best regards,
    Nino

I tried the "Authorized flashing" with my J-link.

I followed the "Moving files to the secure area" of the UM08022.

    it worked for me

    Thanks
