  • Custom module description not found

Upon starting a session, I see the following:

    Source Code

    1. SEGGER SystemView V2.52a
    2. Compiled on Sep 7 2017
    3. Logging started @ 30 May 2018 16:34:52
    4. SystemView started.
    5. Recording started.
    6. Warning: Module description /Applications/SEGGER/SystemView/SystemView.app/Contents/MacOS/Description/SYSVIEW_RTXv5.txt not found.

However, the file is actually there:

    Source Code

    1. $ ls -l /Applications/SEGGER/SystemView/SystemView.app/Contents/MacOS/Description/SYSVIEW_RTXv5.txt
    2. -rw-r--r-- 1 andy wheel 126 May 30 16:21 /Applications/SEGGER/SystemView/SystemView.app/Contents/MacOS/Description/SYSVIEW_RTXv5.txt
  • As a follow up request, it would be very useful to be able to specify one of these module description files on the SystemView command line. This would eliminate the need to edit/maintain text files that are part of the SystemView.app image (and will be destroyed when the software is updated).

Further, it would be useful to be able to specify human readable names for ISR numbers within a description file. This will vary from project-to-project, but if one can specify custom descriptions at launch time, then project-specific descriptions would be possible.
