[SOLVED] Cannot establish connection to ADSP-CM408F EZ Kit

  • [SOLVED] Cannot establish connection to ADSP-CM408F EZ Kit

I can no longer establish a connection since I downloaded IAR V8.11. I then ran the J-Link from the command line, and that doesn't connect either, which leads me to believe its related to J-link. I also updated to the latest V6.14, and that does not help. Note that Analog Devices says the SRAM size is 384K and the flash is 2048K, which there are no options on J-Link for that SRAM size.
I attached two shots of the screen settings, one showing the session log, and the other the selection of processors. Also note that I downloaded the latest version of Analog Devices enablement package for revision H of the processor (which is the one I have).
    Please assist.

  • Hi,

any chance that this related to the security of the device, as described in this post?

  • Looks like it works

Although I knew I had Analog Devices Revision H of the processor and had downloaded it, you still need to close IAR and restart IAR for it to work.
This still does not explain the problem running from J-Link, but not sure it matters as I am using J-Link through IAR.
