  • [ANSWERED] Flash programming and breakpoints

    Hi there,
    I have the following probolem:
on a self-made board with an LPC2378 ARM7 microcontroller, I have connected a Spansion S29GL032 FLASH memory to the external memory bus of the controller.
For program download and debug, I have a non-commercial version of J-Link (since I use it only for hobby purpose).
Now my question: Is it possible, to download data or a program via J-Link to this externally connected flash? And if so, is it possible to debug a program in external flash using flash breakpoints?
I didn't find any option for this.
  • Hi MRT,

currently download into external flash memory via J-Link DLL is not supported.
It is planned to implement download into CFI compliant external flash memory in the near future,
but unfortunately I can not give you a specific schedule yet.

    Best regards
    Alex
