  • Hi Forum,

there will be another update at the end of this week / beginning of next week which will further improve the delay feature.
Please keep in mind that this about compensating for the behavior of some devices which do not comply with the standards regarding trace provided by ARM.
J-Trace PRO works fine with devices which follow the standards.

Regarding the Atmel SAM M7 custom hardware: As it works with the eval board when keeping the PHX in reset (which enables the trace data pins to rise to an amplitude of 3.3 V instead of 2.4 V), we cannot test if it will work better for you with the upcoming update.
However, when using the new Firmware, we were able get Trace working with other devices which do not follow the standards, which did not work with the current firmware.

    Best regards,
    Niklas

  • Hi,

as Trace data is transferred with double data rate, I cannot see how inverting the CLK provides any improvements except that probably delay was added during the process of inverting it, which would indeed help.
