  • [SOLVED] JLink Orange blink

    Hi All,

I was trying to flash software to one of the dev boards with Atmel SAM4E16C chip and then the orange LED started blinking on the JLink Pro continuously. I have checked on RESETS on the target side. How do I recover back the JLink Pro to normalcy (Blink GREEN ) ?

    Thanks for your help
  • Hi,

there is no orange LED on the J-Link Pro.
If both the red and the green LED is lit, the results is orange-like.
You say that it blinks orange. Can you see which color (red or green) is blinking and which one is solid?

    Best regards,
    Niklas

  • Hi Bharath,

sorry, i forgot to ask which LED is lit.
Is it the middle one? Or one with an arrow (up or down) next to it?

    Best regards,
    Niklas

  • Hi Bharath,

Status indicator (arrow up to J-Link side):

GREEN constant => J-Link measures the target reference voltage on pin 1 (VTref >= 1.2V)
RED constant => Target drives nRESET (pin 15) LOW
