  • [SOLVED] J-Link for Raspberry Pi 2

I trie to connect my RPI2 with the J-link but without success.

    The RPI2's chip is a 900 MHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 (ARMv7 instruction set)(Broadcom BCM2836).

Is it possible to connect to them by the J-Link? And when yes what settings i need to connect?
  • Hi,

the Debug-Interface of Raspberry PI is disabled per default. You need to manually activate it:
    sysprogs.com/VisualKernel/tutorials/raspberry/jtagsetup/
I assume this will be the same for Raspberry PI 2. You will need to enable the debugging manually.
    Cortex-A7 is supported by J-Link.
We did not try to debug a Raspberry PI 2 yet, therefore I cannot provide you with step-by-step instructions.

    Best regards,
    Niklas
