I am attempting to download a new production hex file to one of our communication modules which uses the AT91SAM7SE256 micro. I have j-flash V5.02c and a J-Trace CS V3.10 emulator.
Our product uses an external clk signal input from a VPC3+ Profibus ASIC @ 12MHz. The PLL is setup for a Master clk freq of 25.8MHz.
In setting up the J-flash project, I started with the template project for the AT91SAM7SE512(no template for AT91SAM7SE256). I changed the CPU to AT91SAM7SE256 in the project and modified the Init steps for our product. See below. With these settings I am getting the error "Failed to connect Could not establish a connection to the target". However when I bring up the project settings in J-flash on the Target interface tab, it can "Detect" the target as a #0 ARM76TDMI core ID:0x3F0F0F0F. Any ideas on why I cannot connect?
