  • [SOLVED] JLINK Plus V9.2 not detected on usb

    I have a JLINK Plus that cannot be detected by Windows 7. I have tried a couple different cables and different windows machines and it is as it got wiped blank. No LED activity either.

    It worked months ago and just got back to the project. I suspect an update to ATMEL Studio since then may have caused this. I am not trying to use it with ATMEL parts or ATMEL Studio. I am using Atollic Truestudio with this debugger.

    According to your error description, the J-Link Plus is broken. I assume you are referring to the J-Link Plus with the serial number, entered in your forum account information, correct? Unfortunately, this unit is out of warranty period. In such cases, we recommend to make use of the SEGGER Trade-In-Program: segger.com/trade-in-program.html

  • A post-mortem diagnose without having the J-Link here for investigations is very difficult as there can be several reasons why it does no longer work. Most often, the reason for this are electrical spikes and overvoltage. We offer different isolators, to provide electrical isolation: segger.com/jlink-isolators.html
