    Hi,

    JLink gives error messages "Read memory error @ address 0x0000096C, 2 bytes: Communication timeout" when i try to transfer program to my board's flash. Everything starts ok but middle of transfer it's gives that error messages. When i try 10 times .. maybe one times goes right.

    I have IAR EWARM v4.42A + JLink v3.94.

    This problem come up last week, before that everything work ok.

    Last week Windows XP updates itselfs...

    Any ideas what i should do?

  • I had problems with timeout errors as well. Not while flashing but during sessions. Since I switched from adaptive clocking to a fixed clock of 400khz I do not get these errors anymore. I can use adaptive clocking to flash a device however.
    Another problem was that debugging was 'suddenly' unstable. The reason was that I have connected the j-link to a USB hub and not directly to the computer.

    It's not much but I hope it helps.
