    When I start the debugger, EWARM appears to attempt to acquire Jtrace, but seems to get hung up. I have also run JLink.exe, and it seems to hang up as well. The only lines I get from JLink are
    Segger J-Link Commander V4.84a ('?' for help)
    Compiled Apr 4 2014 18:02:34

    Is this a USB problem?

    It was USB related, the root hub seemed to have suspended the port since the JLink was not talking to the target.

    Wondering why this should happen...
    Can you provide some more information about your system?
    Operating system, USB root hub vendor, J-Link model you are using...

    We would like to check if there is something in the USB stack of the J-Link firmware, we can probably improve here to prevent this hanging state.
