  • is it possible read/write configuration of FPGA/CPLD with j-tag ?

    I have SEGGER j-link Commander V4.08i and the j-link hardware adapter.

    Is it possible to extract configuration data from FPGA/CPLD, save it, and later write that configuration to another device ?
    Basically to copy from one device, and program another with same configuration.

    The devices in question are Altera MAX9400 CPLD

    Sorry for the late reply.
    Basically this can be done via J-Link + the SDK since you can output any JTAG sequences using the SDK,
    so you can of course do things like that but there is no "out-of-the-box solution" available.
