Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Such an issue is not known to us. Could you please provide us with a screenshot of the FULL J-Link Commander output? Does it work when you set the speed to the default settings? Also you can find a troubleshooting guide here: wiki.segger.com/J-Link_cannot_…ty_using_J-Link_Commander In the J-Link Configurator you can only set the max. SWO speed for the J-Link. SWO is not even supported by 8051 cores, it is an ARM feature. It does not influence the target side. You …

Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Such an issue is not known to us. 1) Could you send us a J-Link log file? Hi, We just tried to have a look at this. Unfortunately we were not able to get the application you sent us to work. We always get stuck in the boot loader at address 0x000029B8. We were using the TI CC3220 LaunchPad (wiki.segger.com/CC3220_LaunchPad). Are you using the same board? Could you sent us an application, the issue you mentioned here is reproducible with on the TI CC3220 LaunchPad? Best regards, Fabian Federschmidt

Hi Guillaume, Sorry for the delay in response. Yes, J-Link does not support ECC downloads. This area is not supposed to be downloaded to. The J-Link uses the TI API to activate ECC calculation. The ECC area is then managed by the CPU itself. Does this answer your question? Best regards, Fabian

Hi Lukas, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the J-Link Software and Documentation Pack does not support text boxes for Linux/MAC yet. Under Windows, there is an unlock dialog, which asks the user whether he wants to unsecure the device or not. In Linux this is always done without user confirmation. About why your device is in locked state: Your device is probably locked after power cycling it. Since the Commander is automatically unlocking the device by establishing connection, default/…

Hi, Thank you for confirmation. From your description it is highly likely that your EDU was damaged from the USB side. This could have multiple reasons (e.g. resistors burned, faulty USB power supply). In that case the J-Link would need to be replaced. For sanity reasons could you try the same Setup with your J-Trace Pro? Do you see the same behavior there? Regarding your security concern: I can assure you, that we did not link the SN of any J-Link to any of our customers personal information at…

Hi woody, Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that our TELNET implementation does not support other channels besides channel 0 yet. We will probably add this feature sometime in the future. To be able to use other channels, you would need to use our SDK. segger.com/products/debug-prob…nk/technology/j-link-sdk/ Best regards, Fabian

Hi, Thank you for your inquiry and sorry for the delay in response. Quote from thomask77: “Bonus question: When you say "telnet", do you really mean TELNET according to RFC 854? ” We are opening a raw TCP Socket. Quote from thomask77: “It would be nice, if Ozone could just open additional telnet ports for these RTT channels, for example on port 19021 + Channel-ID ” Our telnet implementation only supports channel 0. Quote from thomask77: “Or is there any other way to get data from additional chan…
