After some research-and-try, I found out that using C Source Code (1 line)helps out which is apparently widely recommended in recent writing and which is actually supported by the GCC version included in SES 4.20. One question left: Is there a reason why your environment still delivers the old definition of offsetof? Regards, Achim.

Hello, I am evaluating SES 4.20a. I had a similar issue some weeks ago with SES 4.18 but didn't investigate further because there was no free time then. Trying to compile the following source code: C Source Code (20 lines) I get this from the compiler: Source Code (12 lines) The project settings are default except for -std=c++11. When I use the default language standard (gnu98), it doesn't compile either, however, the error messages are different. Curiously, the compiler complains about lines 11…

Hello Nino, STLport Library Package, Version 1.00 is installed - otherwise I would see "std::map is not a type" or even "map: no such file". It doesn't work. I do use std::map in my project, but I cannot initialize one this way. Does it work on your site? Best regards, Achim

Good morning, I am trying to compile the following code (SES 3.34, G++ 6-2017-q2, option -std=c++11 set): C Source Code (19 lines) and get this error message: Source Code (1 line) The code seems correct to me, and it compiles without complaints natively on my Ubuntu PC (g++ 5.4) Is there a way I can do this with STLport? Can you point me to a site where the current STLport subset is documented? Thank you, Achim

Hello community, when I build my project using "C++11" (in Project Options -> Compiler -> C++ Language Standard), everything works fine. When I use "C++14", I get lots of linker error messages saying "In function 'MyClass::~MyClass()': undefined reference to 'operator delete(void*, unsigned int)'. What is this and is there a way to fix it? Edit: Sorry, forgot to tell: I am using Embedded Studio for ARM 3.34 on Windows 7 x64. Thanks, Achim

I am using Embedded Studio 3.26a on a VMware virtual machine running Ubuntu 16.04. The host computer runs Windows 7-64 bit and VMware Player 12. When my J-Link is connected to the VM via USB, Embedded Studio crashes during start-up. When the J-Link is not USB-connected to the VM, Embedded Studio uses it via LAN (it's a Pro), and that works fine, but it doesn't use my license this way. I understand why the J-Link does not expose its licenses to LAN clients, but how can I use a USB J-Link with a V…
