Hi STM32F1x 128sector. Write-protection granularity is four sector (FLASH-WRPR). I need to protect against writing some sectors of the microntroller. J-FLASH (ST STM32F1x (allow opt. Bytes). And with flasher i need Standalone (Secure chip). Is there any menu option in the J-FLASH to program this? Or it would have to do it through EXIT STEPS. Best regards Jk

Hi. Thanks for replying so quickly. I think I did not explain my problem well. example Project INIT STEPS ACTION RESET halt target EXIT STEPS ACTIONS READOPTCR......... This example works fine on a microcontroller is blank and option bytes ( no sector protection, no secure chip), but if you are re-programming a previously programmed microcontroller with ( any sector protected or secure chip) it fails. I tried to change the sequence in init steps and reset the OPTCR to its default value but it di…

RESET STM32
Postforum.segger.com/index.php/Attachment/25/forum.segger.com/index.php/Attachment/24/Hello. I don´t know if this question I have to direct to IAR or SEGGER. I am using the ewarm of iar version5.30 with a j-link. When I enter to debugging the system realizes a hardware reset, but when I touch the option reset of the enviroment debugger it does not do it. I'm trying reset options (normal, core only, core and peripherals) but don´t work. In the board that I am developing there is no button of reset. Th…
